Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
A double stroller will be vital if you are expecting twins or if you have two children of the same age. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children including side by side seating and an attachment for a board.
Strategist writer Lauren Ro's favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which adapts seamlessly as your family grows. It can fit two infant car seats and an infant seat. This makes it an excellent choice for twins.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish, side-by-side double stroller. It is a bit larger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It has an adjustable handlebar that extends and retracts easily. It also has a fantastic reach, so it's easy for my husband of 6'1 to push, even when loaded.
Seats are comfortable and can be positioned in a way that one child is in front of another or so that children face each one. They can also recline independently from each other. The canopies cover both fabric seats should you wish to. However, they don't provide adequate ventilation, so they could be like a tiny oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.
One of the most unique aspects of this stroller is its ability to grow with your family from one seat (Mono mode) all the way to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only stroller that can be converted that can do this! double pram and pushchair can be used with a bassinet for newborns or a car seat.
It is easy to use on smooth surfaces, and it handles stairs and slopes well. The only downside is that it could be difficult to navigate busy restaurants and shops. It is difficult to fold the seat, especially if it's connected. It is still compact and can be accessed through the majority of doors.
In mono mode, there is a storage bin next to the front seats. This is useful for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket underneath the seats is big and can hold up to 100 pounds. This is more than any other stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This is one of the best twin strollers designed for new newborns. It can be used with a variety of bassinets and infant car seats (adapters are sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets at the same time if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
Compared to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few changes to make it better. The toddler seat is now elevated by a half inch, the footrest has been made bigger and the canopy comes with an additional fabric extension that zips out. Additionally, the harness has been updated and doesn't require re-threaded, making it easy to adjust.
The stroller is fairly large wheels (8'' in the front and 11.5 inches in the back) with strong suspension, so it is able to easily navigate all kinds of terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are perfect for navigating gravel and rocks and the tread on the rear wheels is better for grassy hills or sidewalks.
Another feature that is great is the possibility to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, which is a handy option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who's old enough to stand and walk, the Vista stroller can fit an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.
Vista Vista is simple to use and to set up. However, it takes some time to remove all the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow, and there's also a YouTube video available if you need more help.

The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller offer an easy ride on any terrain. The rear is linked with a single touch. breaks when activated by a toe-tap, making stopping a breeze.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for ease of use. This is based on how simple it is to set up and fold the stroller and to adjust the safety harness, open and close the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller like you would put it into a trunk, and for double strollers that are compatible install and remove an infant car seat.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded which puts it close to the top of our metric. Additionally, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is in place. Additionally the front tray release can be difficult to operate, especially when used for a long time. Despite these issues we still consider this to be a great stroller to have for your family.
Jeep Double Stroller
The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller that's perfect for families with two children. Its lock wheels on the front allow for smooth maneuverability on flat surfaces and lock to give stability on bumpy surfaces. It also comes with a compact umbrella fold that can be closed in seconds and stands upright for easy transport. Its lightweight aluminum frame, carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the easiest double strollers to lift in our tests.
This stroller with a side-by-side design offers independently reclining seats and foot rests for the best comfort for both children. Its oversized canopy extends to provide UPF 50 sun protection. It also comes with a peekaboo view window for easy monitoring. We would like to see the canopy ventilated to allow for more airflow, though. We also weren't thrilled that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame, which means you'll have to bend down to access it.
In our tipping test, the Jeep was able to tip over at a 39-degree angle, which is more than the norm for double prams. It's also a little heavier than our top picks however, it has plenty of storage space at a reasonable cost and has ample padding in the seats and handle.
This stroller is multi-functional and offers three modes. It can be used as a cart (for stuff) or the jogger mode (with two safety belts with five points for children), or car seat mode. It can accommodate one car seat for infants, however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them. They should also be 1 year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
